Soaked Cinnamon Buckwheat Groats
This is a great breakfast, high in protein and good fats as well as low in carbs. It is filling, satisfying and delicious. The recipe should be enough for 3 breakfasts. You could make more to last the week for you.
INGREDIENTS
· ½ cup buckwheat groats
· ½ cup quinoa flakes
· ½ desiccated coconut, unsweetened
· ¼ sunflower/pumpkin seeds
· 1 tbsp chia seeds
· ¼ cup chopped brazil nuts
· ¼ cup hemp seeds
· ¼ cup dried goji berries
· 1 tbsp natural live yoghurt
· 1 tsp ground cinnamon
· 1 -2 cups cup Hazelnut / almond milk
· ¼ cup apple juice
METHOD
Put all ingredients into a bowl and mix to combine
Refrigerate overnight
Stir to mix up in the morning, add more nut milk if needed.
Serve with fresh berries or grated apple.
