This is a wonderful weekend away in the beautiful Lake District, which includes 4 beautifully varied Pilates classes utilising different Pilates props including the foam roller and Overball. With hands on instruction, you will leave the retreat feeling stronger, lengthened, aligned and rested. You will also be spoilt by a private nutritional therapy chef creating nutritionally balanced meals for you and prepared using locally sourced produce. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy guided National Park walks, witnessing the glorious views, waterfalls, fells and lakes. There is also the opportunity to try wild swimming as well as other water activities on our glorious lake, right outside the guesthouse. A truly blissful weekend.

The Happy Menopause: Balancing the journey

This inspiring weekend will focus on the challenges we can face when transitioning through to menopause. Nutritionally we will look at the biochemical changes our bodies go through and how we can support them through nutrition and specific supplementation.

We will go into greater detail for specific symptoms and how these can be reduced and maybe even eliminated.

We will be also be looking to shine a light on the psychological challenges menopause can brings us, exploring the relationship between menopause and anxiety as well as looking at how menopause can impact our identity as a partner, parent and a woman.

Pilates classes, lake district walks and lakeside activities will also be included. All meals will also be included and will be focussed around nutrition for menopause and balancing hormones. There will practical sessions to enjoy and you’ll leave with a tool kit of all the information you’ve learned.
